COLORFUL SUMMER with COLOR BLAST FUN RUN!

Fun run are now being popular in the Philippines and there's a schedule every month sponsored by different companies in benefit of different institutions or organization. Just last month I joined a super colorful fun run together with Lianah, Gina, Karen Michelle, Angel and Jef.

Colorblast Run to Color Lives was a run for a cause and PGH Medical Foundation was the beneficiary. Runners received drifit, race bib and water gun loaded with different colors for only P450.00 for the 3.5K run. It was held in UP Academic Oval and we arrived forty five minutes early than the said time.

Here's our picture before the run. We were still fresh, excited and ready to run as fast as we can! (It was our first time to join fun run and as they say nothing beats the first time! LOLS!!!)

And this was how my drifit looked like after the run. Can you imagine how well I enjoyed running and shooting other participants? It was a blast though I got tired because it was 3.5K. After event we directly head home to take a rest and plan the next run. Aren't we excited? Yes we are!!! I love the drifit, race bib and water gun but I'm dying to have a finisher's medal.

So what are you guys waiting for? Try a new way to bond with your team, co-workers, family and friends. It's just like hitting two birds in one stone; helping others and making yourself fit and healthy! Til next run!!!

SAY A LITTLE PRAYER @ MONESTERIO DE STA. CLARA de MANILA

Preparing for your board exam or bar exam? Here's the first thing you have to do, visit Monesterio de Sta. Clara de Manila! Have you heard about egg and prayer offering if you're going to take exam? Well, it's true and I did it as part of my preparation for the LET 2011. I went there with a written prayer and half dozen eggs wrapped in blue cellophane. In God's grace I passed and same thing goes with my friends. However, it doesn't mean when you have gone there and said your devotion you'll surely pass, NO! as I've said earlier it is just a PART of your preparation. Of course you'll need to do your part and let God do the rest.

Here's the entrance.

A wishing fountain.

O Glorious St. Clare! God has given you the power of working miracles continually, and the favor of answering the prayers of those who invoke your assistance in misfortune, anxiety, and distress. We beseech you, obtain from Jesus through Mary His Blessed Mother, what we beg of you so fervently and hopefully, (mention your petition) if it be for the greater honor and glory of God and for the good of our souls.   Amen.

The area where people write solemnly their prayers and intentions. Once you're done you can go inside and someone will assist you. They are not just accepting eggs but also monetary help.

There are also free candles if you want to offer one.

If you are from Pasig you can take a jeep to "Marikina" (P14.00 from Pasig Palengke to Ligaya) then ask the driver to drop you off at Ligaya. From there, take another jeep going to "Cubao" (P8.00 from Ligaya to Monesterio De Sta. Clara) then ask the driver to drop you off at Monesterio De Sta. Clara then just take the overpass and you can easily recognize it because there are so many vendors outside so you don't have to worry if you forgot to bring eggs (half dozen costs P36.00) because they will surely help you.

BRUNCH @ KANTO FREESTYLE BREAKFAST

Are you looking for a place to have hang-out with your barkada? You may stop for a while and check KANTO FREE STYLE BREAKFAST! It's open 24/7 so you don't have to worry because they are totally ready to serve you whatever time of the day!

Meet my eating buddy, Yanah! You can see in the picture how happy and ready we are to attack the food on the table. Speaking of food... I ordered mixed berry pancakes (P 90.00) and my buddy ordered Batangas beef tapa (P 95.00) then we both decided to have orange juice (P 30.00).

I fell in love with the place surrounded by quotes (wasn't able to take picture) and signs that will draw smile to you face just like this one...

Their branch in Plainview Mandaluyong looks like an ordinary karinderya while the branch in Kapitolyo, Pasig City looks like a garage. However, they have an extra ordinary way of preparing your meal plus their very friendly staffs. Here's the map if you want to visit the branch in Pasig.

VISIT MCMAG CAFE RESTAURANT

Looking for a place where you and your friends can hang out? Try to visit MCMAG CAFE RESTAURANT! It is located along the road in California Garden Square Mauway Mandaluyong City. It's not as big as other cafe restaurant but the place is perfect for meet ups and catching up with friends.

Here's their menu, so you can think in advance what to order! The prices are affordable isn't it? You don't have to worry about the quality because it's totally good! (I already tried their green tea and milk tea cause I LOVE TEAS!)

After chatting with my friend and enjoying my green tea, I saw this "freedom board" so I didn't let the opportunity pass! I wrote "Being organized is being in control" but I wasn't able to take a picture of it.

If you want to go there it's just one tricycle from Parklea Center Mandaluyong. Just tell the driver to drop you off at California Garden Square, the fare is just P 7.00. You can refer to menu to budget the money you're about to bring.

Yesterday, Sky broadband 3mbps was installed for as low as 1,000.00 as an advance payment!! Yehey! I've read tips on how to start blogging and it's my time to apply it!
